We are contracted by oil drilling companies, who manage Rigs and/or Platforms to physically drill and pump oil by means of metal tubes, which penetrate more than 25,000 feet (6km) into the ocean bed in order to reach the designated reservoir. These oil drilling companies are usually contractors hired by multinational oil and gas producers (such as Shell or Gaz de France) to drill on their behalf for a specific contracted period of time.
